Azerbaijan's veteran judoka becomes 8-time world champion

Baku. 18 October. REPORT.AZ/ The world championship among veteran judokas has kicked off in Cancun, Mexico.

Report informs that on the first day of the competition the Azerbaijani team won a gold medal. Farhad Rajabli, in the M-6 category, 90 kg defeated rivals from Russia, US and Brazil in the category, and climbed to the highest step of the honorary podium.

Notably, this is the 8th World Championship that Rajabli won among the judo fighters.
