Azad Rahimov: We are proud to be hosting World Cup in Azerbaijan

"We are proud to be hosting the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship in Azerbaijan after 14 years." Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov told Turkish bureau of Report.

He said the 37th mundial will also be licensing for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games: "The race is not just a fight for the championship in rhythmic gymnastics.  Even so more, the competition is of great importance because it is licensing for 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games. 62 countries will take part in this prestigious competition and within 7 days the gymnasts will compete in both individual and group teams. The most important point is that this World Cup will be organized at a very high level. Of course, we wish success to all gymnasts. "

Notably, the world championship will be held on September 16.
