The drivers of the Aston Martin Formula 1 team shared their views on the Baku City Circuit, which will host the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this weekend.
According to Report, 35-year-old team driver Sebastian Vettel recalled that last year he finished second and took the podium at Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the first time within Aston Martin.
The pilot said he was happy to be back in Baku, adding that it would be a special stage of the championship for him. Vettel said it would be interesting to see how the new generation of cars performs on a track that combines fast corners and straight sections.
He stressed readiness to get behind the wheel again in Azerbaijan.
Another Aston Martin pilot Lance Stroll also announced his readiness for the Baku race.
He said that last year's stage in Baku was difficult despite his team's success.
The alternation of straight, fast, and slow turns makes one look for a compromise in a car setup, he said.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on June 10-12.
