Azerbaijani beach wrestler crowned world champion

Azerbaijan's Farid Jafarov (90 kg) grabbed gold at the U-20 World Beach Wrestling Championship held in Constanta, Romania, according to Report.
Zafar Aliyev (+90 kg) lost in the final and settled for a silver medal, Rubail Ibrahimli (70 kg) grabbed bronze. Only Farid Yusifov (80 kg) won no medals.
With this result, Azerbaijan finished second after the host Romania (95 points), gaining 68 points.
Azerbaijan's U-17 beach wrestling team including Huseyn Sevdimov (50 kg), Ziya Goyushov (60 kg), Vusal Aliyev (70 kg) and Anar Jafarli (80 kg) became the world champion both in individual and team events.
