Azerbaijani boxer of Cuban origin, Alfonso Dominguez (92 kg), who has reached the final of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, the capital of France, proudly declared that he represents the Azerbaijani people at the competition.

In an Instagram post, Dominguez expressed his heartfelt sentiments, saying that he is representing his country, family, children, teammates, and the entire Azerbaijani people.

The athlete thanked the Azerbaijani people saying that they welcomed him as their own son and gave him the chance to compete in the Olympic Games.

In the final, Alfonso Dominguez will face Lazizbek Mullajonov from Uzbekistan. The match is scheduled for August 10 at 00:34 Baku time.
