“I regret that I had never been to Baku before. Finally, I was able to come this year,” President of the Peru Shooting Federation, member of the Executive Committee of the International Shooting Sport Federation, trap shooter Francisco Boza said in an interview with Report.
The 58-year-old athlete, who first took part in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow and won a silver medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, spoke warmly about Azerbaijan.
Boza, who took part in eight Olympiads, said that the people in Baku are hospitable: “In my life I have visited many countries. But this is the first time I come to your wonderful country. The Baku Shooting Center, where we are now, is ideal. I had the opportunity to take a walk around the city. Baku is a very beautiful and modern city. Your country is rich, and your culture is even richer. I should especially note that your people are hospitable. They try to help guests in all matters. Be it taxi drivers, hotel staff or volunteers...”
