Under “Tartar case”, Azerbaijan arrests persons, who allegedly tortured servicemen

As part of the re-investigation into the notorious “Tartar case”, persons, who allegedly tortured servicemen, have been detained, the press service of the Prosecutor-General's Office told Report.
The re-investigation of the criminal case revealed individual servicemen were tortured and mistreated.
Alaskarov Vusal, Alaskarov Rustam, Garayev Ramil were detained as suspects under Articles 145.3 (illegal deprivation of liberty), 293.2 (torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment), 341.2.2 (abuse of official powers), and 341.2.3 of the Criminal Code.
Fuad Akhundov was detained under Articles 127.2.2 (deliberate infliction of harm to health of moderate severity), 145.3, 293.3, 341.2.2, and 341.2.3 of the Criminal Code.
