Ukraine deports nearly 1,500 illegal Azerbaijanis in 2021

The number of Azerbaijani citizens living illegally and deported from Ukraine last year has been announced, Ukraine’s State Migration Service said in response to a query from the Eastern European bureau of Report.
In 2021, a total of 1,448 Azerbaijani citizens were identified as illegal migrants.
Last year, two Azerbaijani citizens decided to return to their country voluntarily, and 1,380 Azerbaijani citizens were forcibly returned back to their home country. A decision was made to forcibly expel 47 Azerbaijani citizens from Ukraine.
