Traffic on Kovkab Safaraliyeva, Nizami, and Yusif Safarov streets has been fully restored, Report informs, citing the Center for Intelligent Traffic Management under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a reminder, traffic in the area had been restricted due to a large fire at one of the warehouses.

The warehouse fire in Baku's Nasimi district has been completely extinguished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told Report.

The fire occurred at a warehouse covering an area of 2,400 square meters, where electronic and other goods were stored. The fire affected 360 square meters.

Most of the warehouse was protected from the flames, and the spread of the fire to nearby buildings was successfully prevented.

A fire that broke out at a warehouse in Baku’s Nasimi district has been successfully localized.

According to Report, earlier at 12:06, an emergency response headquarters was established in connection with the blaze.

According to on-site information, 14 fire brigades and 61 personnel were dispatched to the location to combat the fire.

As a result of the fire, traffic has been restricted on Nizami Street, particularly affecting the routes from Kevkab Safaraliyeva Street towards Nizami and Yusif Safarov Streets. Authorities are urging motorists to avoid the area and follow detour signs to ensure safety and facilitate emergency response efforts.​

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has mobilized additional resources to manage the situation effectively. Firefighters are working diligently to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjacent structures. No casualties have been reported at this time.​
