Temporary commandant appointed for Lachin 

Upon the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan, the Interior Ministry appointed the head of the Lachin District Police Department, Adil Asadov, as a temporary commandant for the district, Report informs.

Today President Ilham Aliyev posted on his Twitter page that the Azerbaijani Army is stationed in Lachin. On August 26, the Commander-in-Chief announced that the Azerbaijanis had returned to the city of Lachin and that the city of Lachin, the villages of Zabukh and Sus had been taken under control. In this regard, he congratulated all the inhabitants of Lachin and the people of Azerbaijan.
