Ruben Vardanyan's appeal rejected

The appeal filed against the arrest of Ruben Vardanyan, who came illegally to the territory of Azerbaijan and worked as the so-called "State Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" and was detained at the Lachin border checkpoint on September 27, was rejected, Report informs.
The complaint was reviewed at the Baku Court of Appeal under the chairmanship of judge Habil Mammadov.
His lawyer, Afat Gaziyeva, asked to cancel the pretrial detention measure chosen for his client.
The court rejected the appeal, considering the decision of the first instance court to be reasonable.
