Investigation continues on three criminal cases in connection with the terror attacks committed in Azerbaijan’s Ganja during the Patriotic War, Report informs referring to the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The Armenian missile attack on several large cities, including Ganja, the second largest city in Azerbaijan with more than half a million people and numerous historical and cultural monuments, is an integral part of the aggressive policy that has been ongoing since 1988.
“As a result of rocket and artillery attacks on Ganja, which was outside the combat zone, on October 4, 5, 8, 11 and 17 of 2020, as many as 26 people were killed, including 10 women and 6 young children, 175 people, including 57 women and 32 children were injured, major damage was caused to infrastructure facilities and vehicles located in the city.
In connection with the missile attacks on Ganja city, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan opened three criminal cases, the investigation of which is ongoing, measures are being taken to bring the perpetrators to justice in accordance with the laws of our country,” reads the report.
