Prosecutor General’s Office: Court made no final decision regarding perpetrator of terror attack at Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran

The Iranian court hasn’t made a final decision regarding the person who committed the terror attack at the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, Report informs referring to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan.
It is noted that information appeared on the pages of some media and on social networks that the accused in this crime was sentenced to death.
“We declare that the Azerbaijani side is carefully monitoring the progress of the criminal case regarding the crime committed, and regularly maintains contacts with the Iranian side. We hope that in the near future the court will pronounce a fair verdict and provide a worthy punishment,” the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan said in a statement.
