Prosecutor-General: Material damage totaling AZN206 million compensated

"Last year, material damage in the amount of AZN206,257,000 was compensated for the criminal cases registered with the investigative bodies of the prosecutor's office and the relevant executive authorities," Report informs, citing Prosecutor-General Kamran Aliyev telling at an expanded meeting of the board.

He said that in 2021, the prosecutor’s office completed preliminary investigations into 970 criminal cases against 1,301 people and these cases were sent to the courts for consideration.
