Peacekeepers' truck overturns, ignites in Shusha, spreading fire to vehicles belonging to Armenians

A truck belonging to Russian peacekeepers caught fire on the section of the Shusha-Lachin highway near the village of Turshsu, Shusha district.

Report informs, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, that the forces of the Shusha district fire brigade of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately arrived on the scene.

An 8-ton KamAZ fuel tanker belonging to the Russian peacekeeping contingent overturned on the side of the road and ignited. During the incident, Hummer and Mercedes cars belonging to Armenian citizens, parked on the side of the road, also caught fire.

Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the surrounding areas.
