Fire in multi-storey residential building in Baku extinguished - UPDATED

The fire in a building in the Yeni Yasamal residential area on Asad Ahmadov Street has been extinguished, the head of the fire department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, senior lieutenant Tural Zahidov, told Report.

"The fire was extinguished in a short time. The building and apartments were protected from fire. No one was injured," he noted.

According to Report, the fire broke out in the basement of the 16-storey building and spread to the upper floors.
