Mine explosions triggered by fire in Azerbaijan’s Shusha

A fire incident broke out in the Gala Darasi area of the Shusha district, located within Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, Report informs.

Firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan were quickly deployed and successfully contained the blaze, preventing its spread to nearby forested areas.

Eyewitnesses reported several mine explosions in the vicinity, believed to have been triggered by the fire.

The flames were fully extinguished following the coordinated efforts on site.
