A man financing international terrorism was arrested in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The Sabail District Court of Baku City has sentenced Aliyev Yusif Sultan, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to pre-trial detention under the criminal case conducted by the State Security Service.
According to the indictment announced to Yusif Aliyev, he was brought to criminal responsibility for transferring the funds collected by creating various closed groups on Telegram and WhatsApp social networks to foreign countries to finance an international terrorist organization.
In the ongoing criminal case, Yusif Aliyev is charged with Article 214-1 (financing of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
