Lightning strike kills two Azerbaijani border guards

On June 9, Major Bakhyshly Bakhysh Elshan oghlu and Soldier Naghiyev Ali Elshan oghlu, both servicemen of the State Border Service, tragically died as a result of a lightning strike while performing their duties to guard the state border in the service territory of the Lankaran border detachment of the Border Troops, Report informs, citing AZERTAC.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
