Head of Interpol National Central Bureau sent into retirement

Chief of the Interpol National Central Bureau of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Police Major General Mehman Tahmazov has been released from his post and sent into retirement.
Report informs that Interior Minister, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov signed an order in this regard.
According to the order, Tahmazov was sent to retire due to the limit of service.
The new head of the Interpol National Central Bureau is yet to be appointed.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the fact to Report.
Notably, Tahmazov was appointed head of Interpol National Central Bureau in 2012.
