Baku to host 3rd German-Azerbaijani Radiology and Neuroradiology Symposium

Baku is to host the 3rd German-Azerbaijani Radiology and Neuroradiology Symposium.

Report informs that the event will be held on March 15-16 with the exclusive support of the National Center of Oncology. The event will focus on modern diagnosing and progressive methods of treatment of oncological diseases.

All the same, during the event the participants will discuss the establishment of a modern center of cerebrovascular diseases based on Germany model and the latest scientific innovations made by the guests, invited from Germany, including doctor of medicine, professor Anastasios Mpotsaris, doctors of medicine Nural Abdullayev, Walker Mouth, Babak Ruslamzadeh and Christof M.Sommer.

Local specialists Anar Kazimov, Fuad Novruzov and Rasim Babayev will share their latest scientific and practical knowledge in diagnosing and treatment of oncological diseases with the event participants.

As part of the symbosium, the most progressive methods of treating brain aneurysm applied in Azerbaijan for the first time will be presented to participants in a form of a practical training.

Another praiseworthy step as part of the symposium is the hosting in Baku of the first meeting of the members and founders of the German-Azerbaijani Radiology and Neuroradiology Society established in Germany and led by our compatriot, doctor of medicine Nuran Abdullayev.

Notably, the Symposium is presided by general director of the National Center of Oncology of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Academician Jamil Aziz oghlu Aliyev and professor Anastasios Mpotsaris.

The event will start with the visit to the grave of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, and to the Martyrs' Alley at 09.00 am on March 15 and continue at the National Center of Oncology.
