Azerbaijan's top prosecutor visiting Germany

On January 27, a delegation led by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor-General Kamran Aliyev began a working visit to Germany, Report informs referring to the Prosecutor General's Office.

"First, the members of the delegation paid homage to the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Berlin and paid tribute to his memory. Then the prosecutor-general met with State Secretary of the German Ministry of Justice Angelika Schlunk. The parties expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics in the development of relations between the two countries in the political, economic, legal and other fields," the message reads.

The meeting, which was also attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Ramin Hasanov, discussed the prospects for the development of interdepartmental cooperation, including cooperation in the field of legal assistance in criminal cases and extradition.
