25 people in Azerbaijan caught red-handed in anti-corruption operation

During the first six months of 2024, the operational units of the Anti-Corruption General Directorate with the Prosecutor General caught 25 people red-handed, an official of the General Directorate told a meeting following the results of the first half of the year, Report informs.

The official noted that 93 criminal cases were initiated by the operational units of the General Directorate during that period:

“As a result of 28 search and operational measures, 25 people who committed corruption crimes were caught red-handed, and four wanted people were detained.”
