Azerbaijan reports 249 new COVID-19 cases over past week

Azerbaijan recorded 249 new coronavirus cases over the past week (October 9-15), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
362 people infected with COVID-19 recovered, and 10 patients died.
Overall, the country has reported 833,799 cases of infection, 823,205 recoveries, and 10,347 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 247 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past week, 4,007 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,696,360 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
No one was vaccinated in the country during the past week.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far was 13,969,897.
