Azerbaijan police discover weapons, drugs in school building in Khankandi

On March 7, 2024, a significant cache of narcotic substances and weapons was uncovered at a secondary school in Khankandi, as well as within the city’s vicinity, the press service of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told Report.
The items confiscated by police officers included 766 potent narcotic tablets, an array of firearms comprising 20 automatic weapons, a machine gun, three pistols, three rifles, and additional armaments such as 10 grenades, nine detonators, and various communication devices.
Additionally, 20 magazine clips and 6,188 rounds of ammunition of differing calibers were also secured by the authorities.
