Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency: 1,258 hectares cleared of mines last week

From June 10 to 16, 29 anti-tank mines, 131 anti-personnel mines and 528 pieces of unexploded ordnance were found and defused in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, reads the weekly update by the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), Report informs.
An area of 1,258.7 hectares has been cleared of mines. Mine clearance operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Border Service and four private companies in Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankandi, Shusha, Khojavand, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan, including four villages of the Gazakh district liberated from occupation.
