Azerbaijan deploys 2 helicopters to extinguish fires in Aghdam and Aghdara

Two helicopters have been deployed to assist in extinguishing the ongoing fires in the Aghdam and Agdara districts, according to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations, Report informs.
The fires broke out in the open areas near the villages of Aliaghali and Yeni Garalar in Aghdam, and Sirkhavand village in Agdara. The ministry's "112" emergency hotline received calls about the fires, and emergency forces were immediately dispatched to the affected areas.
To prevent the fire from spreading further and to accelerate the firefighting efforts, two helicopters from the Aviation Unit, along with forces from the State Fire Protection Service, were sent to the scene.
Efforts to control and extinguish the fire are currently ongoing.
