Azerbaijan confirms 2 new COVID-19 cases, 1 dies

Azerbaijan has recorded 2 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
No one infected with COVID-19 recovered, and one patient died.
Overall, the country has reported 831,972 cases of infection, 821,668 recoveries, and 10,288 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 16 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past day, 870 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,653,658 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
As many as 49 people were vaccinated in the country during the past day.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far was 13,967,963.
