AZAL carries nearly 52,000 passengers to Georgia this year

In January-July 2019, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) carried 51,927 passengers to Georgia, Report informs citing the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia (GCAA).
In the reporting period, Georgia’s share in civil aviation market made up 2%.
Totally, foreign airlines carried 2,159,047 passengers to Georgia in the first half of 2019. Hungarian Wizz Air ranked first with 348,850 passengers (14% share in Georgia’s market). The second place was held by Georgian Airlines with 260,774 passengers and the third place by Turkish Airlines with 255,066 passengers.
