Anastasia Kshnyakina: My father's heroic act will forever remain in memory of Azerbaijani people

The heroism of Igor Kshnyakin will forever be remembered by the people of Azerbaijan, his family, and those whose lives he saved, Anastasia Kshnyakina, the daughter of Igor Kshnyakin, the pilot who tragically lost his life in the AZAL plane crash near the Kazakh city of Aktau, said during the farewell ceremony for the deceased crew members, according to Report.

"My father was a compassionate and cheerful person, strong in spirit and dedicated to his profession," Anastasia recalled. "Throughout his career, he repeatedly demonstrated that the lives of his passengers were the most crucial aspect of his job. On that fateful day, my father landed the airplane and saved passengers' lives. His actions serve as a shining example of what it means to be a true pilor. His heroic deed will remain in the memory of our family, Azerbaijan, and the entire world," Anastasia affirmed.
