ANAMA finds 159 mines in liberated territories

Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has provided a monthly report on the work conducted in the liberated territories.
Report informs, citing ANAMA, that from February 1 to 28, 96 anti-personnel, 63 anti-tank mines, and 601 unexploded ordnances were found in Tatar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts.
An area of 379.6 hectares was cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance in the area.
From November 10, 2020, to February 28, 2022, 10,600 anti-personnel mines, 4,865 anti-tank mines, and 14,045 pieces of unexploded ordnance were found.
During this period, a total of 7,560 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
