13 Azerbaijani citizens entering Germany illegally detained

Legal actions will be taken against 13 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who entered Germany illegally during the last six months of this year, said the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany in response to the inquiry of the European bureau of Report.

According to the information, most of the 13 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan illegally entered Germany from neighboring countries by hiding in the containers of heavy tonnage trucks. The persons detained during the police raid were handed over to the relevant immigration offices.

The federal ministry said that legal actions will be taken against those persons for illegally crossing the country's borders.

According to the daily Bild newspaper, about 1,500 migrants enter the country illegally every day. They are mainly citizens of Syria, Afghanistan, and North African republics.

The newspaper claims that neighboring Switzerland is directing migrants to Germany.
