1 killed, 8 injured in landmine explosions in Azerbaijan in November

Seven mine explosions were recorded in November 2021, killing one and injuring eight more, Chairman of Azerbaijan Campaign to Ban Landmines Public Union Hafiz Safikhanov told Report.
He noted that one civilian died and eight more were injured, including a sapper, a border guard, two Internal Troops service members and four civilians).
"Anti-personnel mines exploded in 6 cases, and anti-tank mines in 1 case in November 2021. Incidents with mines occurred in the Jabrail, Agdam, Goranboy, Lachin, Fizuli and Zangilan districts," he stressed.
