Artificial intelligence (AI) created by humans is still at a very early stage of its development, said Israeli military historian and medievalist, author of the international bestseller "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humanity" Yuval Harari at the opening ceremony of the 74th International Astronautical Congress held in Baku, Report informs.
The AI processes information, makes decisions, creates completely new ideas using non-human intelligence, as is traditionally done, he added. It is superior to humans in solving many problems, he said.
Harari emphasized that the development of artificial intelligence, which is currently in an ‘amoeba’ state, is not so slow - it will only take a couple of decades to bring this tool to a new level.
