Yahoo loses 31% of its market share in Azerbaijan

In July of 2024, the market share of the Google search system on all platforms (computers, mobile devices and tablets) in Azerbaijan decreased to 90.64%, the highest by any brand, Report informs, citing Statcounter.

It is 0.42 percentage points lower than in June and 2 percentage points lower than a year ago.

The market share Yandex ranked second, increased by 0.38 percentage points and 1.47 percentage points, respectively, to 7.55%.

The market share of Bing, ranked third, increased by 0.02 percentage points and 0.69 percentage points respectively, to 1.26%.

The market share of the fourth-ranked Yahoo remained unchanged compared to the previous month, and compared to the indicator a year ago, it decreased by 0.13 percentage points and amounted to 0.29%. As a result, the search engine lost 31% of its market share compared to a year ago.

Closing the top five, DuckDuckGo's market share decreased by 0.01 percentage points and 0.04 percentage points to 0.18%, respectively.
