Value of e-commerce market in EAEU amounts to $82B

The e-commerce market volume in the EAEU is $82 billion, and this figure will grow by 30% by 2030, Andrey Slepnev, member of the Board (minister) for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said during the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

"Currently, the total share of e-commerce in EAEU retail is about 13%, but there is steady growth. And by 2030, we forecast growth up to 30%," he said.

He added that based on last year's results, growth rates in e-commerce of 20% are observed in almost all countries.

At the same time, there are 78 million regular internet users in the union space, he noted.
