Turkish company interested in supplying defense products to Azerbaijan

Turkish company TR Mekatronik has expressed interest in supplying defense industry products to Azerbaijan, the company's representative Mesut Cilli told Report.

"We have established production of the SAR 762 machine gun. This is a completely domestic product, created by Turkish engineers. It is capable of heavy fire, producing 12.5 shots per second," Cilli said.

According to him, the company has already begun equipping Turkish Atak helicopters with these systems. "We have also exported weapons and a helicopter to one of Türkiye's friendly African countries. We would like to establish supplies to brotherly Azerbaijan in the near future," the company representative added.

He also stressed that these weapons can be used not only on helicopters, but also in air defense systems.
