Skype to halt operation on May 5 — Microsoft

The Skype platform will cease to operate on May 5, Microsoft said on its technical support website, Report informs.
The company said earlier it would terminate support for the platform in May and accounts of users would be transferred to the Microsoft Teams service.
The Skype service was launched in 2003. Microsoft acquired it in 2011.
