Senate confirms Bill Nelson to head NASA

The US Senate has approved former senator and astronaut Bill Nelson as head of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that Nelson's candidacy was accepted unanimously.
NASA is an executive government agency set up to carry out US civilian space programs. NASA's work includes better exploration of the planet Earth, more profound study of heliophysics and astrophysics, and the discovery of space objects entering the solar system through automated systems.
