Selcuk Bayraktar: ‘We are happy that Azerbaijan is hosting the International Astronautical Congress’

“We are happy that the International Astronautical Congress is held in independent Azerbaijan, the country we consider our motherland, after 50 years,” the technical director of the Baykar company, Selcuk Bayraktar, told Report.

“Turkish Space Agency is here, our ministries have stands, Roketsan and Aselsan are represented here. Also, our space research organization is here. We are one nation, two states. We need to develop relations between our countries in space as well. It is the most prestigious congress on space. We hope to host it in Türkiye in 2 years,” he said.
