In January-April 2025, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan identified 371 cyberattack indicators (IOC) against state agencies, Report informs.
According to Report's estimates based on data by the state service, this is 18% more than in the same period last year.
As many as 146 of the cyberthreats were identified and blocked based on internal investigations, and 225 - on the basis of investigations of incidents received from state institutions.
In April alone, 81 cyberattacks were identified, which is 29% more than a year ago.
During the reporting period, 180.5 million malicious links were blocked on the AzStateNet network, 5.2 million malicious electronic documents were blocked through the central antivirus system installed on end users, and 55,300 malicious electronic documents were blocked through the Sandbox protection system.
