Ministry: Azerbaijan makes progress in mobile connectivity index

Azerbaijan made progress in the international mobile internet connectivity index in 2023, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan’s Digital Development and Transport Ministry.

The GSM Association published the Mobile Connectivity Index report for 2023, covering indicators for 99% of the world’s population across 173 countries.

Azerbaijan achieved a mobile internet connection score of 69.33 index points in 2023, representing an increase from 2022.

Additionally, based on the 2023 indicators, Azerbaijan was classified as part of the Advanced group in the Mobile Connectivity Index, moving up from the Transitioner group.
