Minister: Azerbaijan opens Cyber Security Center with Israel's support

The Cybersecurity Center, which will soon open in Azerbaijan with the support of Israel, will train IT specialists, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said at the Azerbaijan Investment and Young Entrepreneurs Forum, organized in Baku by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy, Report informs.

“The center is created under an agreement with the Israeli Technion University. One of the important projects we are implementing is related to the cybersecurity not only of the country, but also of private small and medium-sized businesses. There is a decision to create a center that will release highly qualified specialists and coaches to the Azerbaijani market in the next 3 years, and this center will start its work in the near future,” he said.
