Azerbaijan might join the Artemis program, which is being implemented to research the Moon, President of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Hiroshi Yamakawa said in response to a question from Report at a press conference on the second day of the 74th International Astronautical Congress in Baku.
“To Artemis project was launched with the participation of 29 countries to conduct research on the Moon. But, unfortunately, Azerbaijan is not one of these countries. We would like Azerbaijan to also join this project.
As a representative of JAXA, I can say that we have very good relations with Azercosmos, and we will be happy to further develop these relations and share experience with Azerbaijan,” he said.
