Innovation Center to be built in Baku

Baku. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ A new innovation center will be built in Azerbaijan.

Report informs, Director of High Technology Park LLC Tural Karimli said at Microsoft Innovation Forum today.

Karimli noted that this center will be put into operation by late 2019.

"I would like to note that by the end of 2019, a modern innovation center will be commissioned under the High Technology Park. This center will be located in Baku city center. The process is currently underway. Total area will be 7,000 sq. meters and will be in the place of the former Khatai Telephone Junction. All IT companies will be granted a resident status and they will receive tax benefits," Karimli said.
