By 2026 the number of active startups may increase to 500, Inara Valiyeva, Chairperson of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, said in an interview with Report.
According to her, there are currently 220 active startups in Azerbaijan.
"The increase in the number of startups is directly related to the number of Minimum Viable Products (MVP). There are currently about 105 startups offering MVPs. We plan to add another 115 MVPs to the market this year."
