Head of C4IR Center: Coursera courses to be freely available for 5,000 Azerbaijanis

Another 5,000 Azerbaijanis will be able to take advantage of Coursera courses by September 15, 2024, Fariz Jafarov, Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, said at the closing ceremony of the IT Hub Azerbaijan project, Report informs.

"As many as 5,000 Azerbaijanis will benefit from more than 800 courses free of charge within the framework of cooperation with Coursera, an international educational platform with nearly 130 million users. On this platform, the world's most famous universities, such as Cambridge and Stanford, as well as Google, Meta, and programs of large companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, are presented to citizens online," Jafarov added.
