Georgia may provide 10-year tax incentives for Azerbaijani startups

Georgia may offer 10-year tax benefits for Azerbaijani startups, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Irakli Nadareishvili, said at the INMerge Innovation Summit in Baku, Report informs.

According to Nadareishvili, at the end of 2025, Georgia will adopt an innovative startup status that will allow startups to enjoy zero taxation in the first three years and tax benefits for 10 years:

The deputy minister noted that these preferences will apply not only to Georgian citizens but also to foreign startups:

"Georgia has always consistently created an attractive business and investment environment, despite the fact that the country represents a small market with a population of only 3.7 million people. However, we were able to balance this with free trade agreements signed with different countries."
