Drone-mounted radiometer to be demonstrated for first time at TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan

The Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will demonstrate for the first time a drone-mounted radiometer within the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan aerospace and technology festival scheduled for May 26-29 in Baku, Director General of the Institute Islam Mustafayev said, Report informs.
“This device is designed for radiation monitoring in hard-to-reach and dangerous mountainous terrain, it is installed on unmanned aerial vehicles. As part of expeditions organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in the territories liberated from occupation, this device was used eight times to conduct radioecological monitoring,” he added.
