Deputy minister: 15% of government services in Azerbaijan to become digital by 2025

There are plans to transfer 15% of public services provided to citizens in Azerbaijan to digital format by the end of 2024, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov said at the presentation ceremony of the updated digital government platform mygov, Report informs.

"Digitalization is becoming the leading force in the economic development of Azerbaijan, making information and services accessible to ordinary citizens and entrepreneurs. Our strategy is built on three main vectors: digital government, digital society and digital business," the deputy minister noted.

He added that the construction of a digital government involves the complete digitalization of public services and internal processes, ensuring the transition to a paperless government by increasing the availability of services and information: "In order to increase the efficiency of data exchange between state information resources and systems, as well as optimize management in the provision of electronic services to the population, the National Information Exchange System Digital Bridge was presented, which allows for rapid data exchange between government agencies, increasing the throughput by four times. More than 100 information systems of 70 departments are integrated into the system."
